Request an Enhancement to Pro/DESKTOP

It is easy to request an enhancement, just go to the PTC Enhancement Page. You will need your PTC customer logon information to submit the idea. If you are not a PTC customer or you don't have a login ID then you cannot use this function.

Google Groups - Pro/E Discussion Group

The google groups area gives you access to thousands of newsgroups via your web browser. I know this is a Pro/E group but apparently there a quite a few Pro/D users in this group.

Finite Element Analysis Packages
  • COSMOS/M Design Star: This is an incredibly easy to use FEA package that easily reads in files from Pro/D. The interface to this package looks and works just like Pro/D.
  • ANSYS DesignSpace: Another easy to use FEA package that works well with Pro/D

PTC needs to make Pro/D associative with one of these packages!!!

 

3D Parts
  • CADALOG: Offers a variety of 3D parts in various formats you need to purchase a membership to access the parts.
